The challenge of working with an apartment was no challenge at all. You’re expertise in understanding my needs and designing around those needs was impeccable, and the colours fit perfectly.

It makes the apartment look so open and twice as big. It certainly exceeded my expectations.

I also want to mention the trades people, they were really great. They were always on time and were very helpful and friendly. Everything was done exactly to the plan you set out. It certainly made for a hassle free renovation.

I wanted to write and thank you for the excellent work you did in designing our kitchen. It is all finished and looks wonderful. In fact I think it looks much more suited to the room than the original.

I would also like to thank the cabinet makers at Smith & Smith for the very high quality of the cabinet making and finish. Finally I would like to thank the young men who installed the units for doing such an accurate and careful job to ensure that the fitting was perfect. In particular fitting the chimney to the awkward angle of the roof.

Greetings Master Kitchen Designer!!!

Just giving you the news that the kitchen is finished….We have a problem with the Fagor oven. The cooling cavity fan is not working properly.

We had the Account Manager from Home Appliances, Chris Macleod, around to go through the operating procedures and he was able to confirm what the issue is and gave us the number for Mastertech customer service. Monday morning hopefully the oven will be all systems go!!!

We haven’t even used it yet.The painter finished the kitchen off perfectly this afternoon.Please feel free to give us a ring so both yourself and Tanya to set up a time to take your “happy snaps”.

Many thanks to all concerned with our little kitchen.Thanks also to Kerry for putting up with my frequent visits. You are a fantastic asset. A first impression when entering a reception/showroom is so important. You have a great way of putting new visitors at ease and you know how to show off the settings without any pressure.

[Personal Name Removed] came to our home and created an amazing and functional design completely in keeping with our tastes, even though we weren’t really sure what we wanted! Our brief was pretty vague – open plan, light, easy to clean & functional. [Personal Name Removed] had so many great design ideas & practical suggestions about finishes we hadn’t even considered. We eagerly waited for our kitchen to be built & delivered. Finally the day arrived. It took two days to install the bulk of it (bulkheads & splash back came afterwards), and it was incredible. The quality is outstanding & it looks incredible. We just had our glass splash back installed and can’t believe this stunning kitchen is ours! We have been cooking elaborate feasts & it is so easy to work in, and just as easy to clean- exactly what we wanted. Almost all the tradesman have been fantastic- we had a few pedantic details that needed rectifying after installation & Sam has happily attended 3 times to fix things. The after care has been fantastic. We have never been made to feel as though our requests were anything but reasonable. We love showing off our gorgeous new kitchen!

We are delighted with our new kitchen and renovations to the area. From the beginning, our dealings with Smith and Smith have been fantastic and we want to say thank you to you and the team. Bec Underwood started the ball rolling with her ‘out of the square’ design and by listening carefully to what we were trying to achieve, Nick the check measurer, Patrick and Steve the builders, Phil the installer, Tony the electrician, Dan the plumber and Sam and the maintenance team, as well as you yourself, have all been terrific to deal with. No problem was too difficult to answer and the speedy way in which work went ahead was marvellous. Everyone was friendly, courteous and efficient. Our friends, who recommended you, were absolutely right – you are the best!

We have recently had a new kitchen installed by Smith & Smith Ltd in our 1960’s built home. We are delighted with the result and there is nothing we would change. We enjoy it every day and only wish we had done it years ago.

The quality of the fittings is 1st class and the professionalism of the Company and their staff made it a very pleasant and comfortable experience.

The real success of our kitchen was essentially due to the painstaking preparation and experienced advice given by the company designer. We must have truly tried her patience at times. Her understanding of our needs and the answers were quite amazing but practical and cost efficient at the same time.

The installation was complicated by the need to match old to new without altering the character of the home.

The end result was a totally complimentary modernisation of the home.We were so happy with these efforts that we took her advice and suggestions and had the Company transform and refit our laundry at the same time.

Without hesitation I would recommend the team at Smith & Smith to anyone considering a similar project.

I’m writing to let you know how pleased I am with my new Smith and Smith kitchen. The company came highly recommended by friends, but I didn’t expect to be as delighted as I am. From the very first contact, when an appointment was made for Laly Renehan to come and design the kitchen, everything went like clockwork. Laly made some wonderful suggestions I would never have thought of, especially the inclusion of a large dresser which has given the kitchen its “wow” factor. We took her advice on every aspect as she was the expert, and she didn’t disappoint. The removal of the existing kitchen by Victor Mendelsohn was quick and efficient, followed over the next three days by the installation. Caleb was meticulous with everything he did and took a great pride in his work. All of the tradespeople involved with the kitchen did a wonderful job, and were very pleasant and obliging. We were very pleased with the work Warwick did finishing off the minor things that needed to be done. We were able to offer extra work to most of the tradespeople, and all of that was done promptly.

The Splashback Company installed the glass splashback today and it has really finished off the kitchen.

We recently engaged with your company Smith and Smith to build our new kitchen. Our initial consultation was with Sue, your kitchen designer.

Sue obviously has a wealth of experience as she had the perfect kitchen drawn up within half an hour. I braced myself for a hefty price tag but was pleasantly surprised to receive a cost that was more than reasonable.We were then passed onto Nicholas. Nick’s attention to detail was outstanding. He called many times confirming the smallest of details and kept us in the loop at all times. I cannot say enough about his service, knowledge and care. There were times when he may not have had the answer but always got back to me within an hour of our conversation. He is an absolute credit to your company and I felt that I had to write this letter to let you know how impressed we have been with his work.

Our building experience up until this point had been absolutely terrible. Our builder had turned out to be (putting it lightly), a conman-(****** Constructions) who has built our house just reaching minimum standard whilst charging a fortune for it. Nick really gave my husband and I a little joy to see that there are people out there who can deliver what they promise. At the time, I told my husband I would reserve my judgment until the kitchen had been completed as we had been promised service and quality many times before but had been bitterly disappointed. After installation, I can say that we are 100% happy with our kitchen and laundry-(and pantry). It is most certainly a WOW factor of the house and many people have commented on it. It is an absolutely stunning kitchen! We love it. We have loved everything that your company has provided. You have made it the easiest part of our building experience.

We are writing to thank you for our kitchen renovation.

At every level the process was a success. We wanted a high-quality magazine kitchen without paying the world.We got it.Many people are concerned when embarking on such a project that things can go badly. With Smith and Smith we had as pleasant experience as possible.The kitchen was completed on time and on budget, with the minimum of inconvenience.Designer Susana Cardenosa incorporated all of our requests into a lovely design, both aesthetic and practical. She went out of her way to see what we wanted and turn it to reality.Manager, Tony Peroni, showed patience and great skill in turning the overall design into the specifics of a detailed plan for his builders. On my many projects I have rarely found a better project manager.

Paul Edwards, the builder, worked tirelessly long hours to get the project moving on time, always cheerful and optimistic about anticipated difficulties.We started the building works, which involved demolition of brick walls and levelling of concrete floors, the first week of December, and true to word Smith and Smith provided an almost complete functioning kitchen before Christmas (the same year)! We had only to wait for the glass splash back until February.

The installers John and Warwick just came in and did the job, attempting always for a perfect finish, and responding cheerfully to all our requests for adjustments.

The approach of Smith and Smith to allow outside trades to assist was greatly appreciated and especially enabled the data cabling and audiovisual components to be done by our own electrician, and similarly the stone masons accomplished an excellent result on the floor tiling. This gave us more flexibility which enhanced the outcome and the outside workers were able to cooperate with the people from Smith and Smith.The company managers Aaron and Debbie clearly had the attitude to help us find the right product and break through barriers to get the job done to a high standard.I have pleasure in commending Smith and Smith Cabinet makers.

This note is to say how grateful we are to have selected your company (Smith and Smith) to update/renew our kitchen.

From the moment we entered the showroom in Rowville and were greeted by the receptionist Kerry, we felt that this was where we could get what we needed in our house.

The showroom is fantastic. Well setup, the cabinets, draw systems plus the appliances are on show in the best possible light for the clients to view.

We did see some other kitchen outlets but felt a little intimidated by their attitude or lack of knowledge as to what WE the Customer wanted in the way of a new makeover for our kitchen.

Laurie was very interested in what we had to say, only adding ideas or suggestions after listening to our thoughts. We made an appointment for him to come to our home to inspect and measure the area to be renovated.

When we saw his first design and obtained a quote plus timeline to carry out the works, Mary and I felt that Smith and Smith was the right choice for us.

We paid a few visits to the showroom to choose the new appliances, colours and type of finishes for the cabinets and bench tops, each time greeted with a warm welcome by your staff. To my mind, the first impression is so important to any successful business. You have wonderful staff at the front desk. Kerry is a great asset.

A friend of ours put us on to you after she had her kitchen made over.

I am glad we checked other companies as well so we could make comparisons and gain some knowledge before seeing what Smith and Smith could come up with.

The process of installing a new kitchen is a daunting task, your tradespeople did a great job. The workmanship is first class. From the initial taking out of old cabinets, replastering, electrical works, plumbing, to the fitting of the new cabinets (Phil Spies), bench tops and the new appliances is not a task to be carried out byjust anyone off the street. It has to be done in a co-ordinated fashion. It waslllli There were a few small hick ups but nothing that could not be fixed by a phone call to you.

To put it mildly, we are very happy with the finished kitchen. Our friends have commented how nice it looks, modern, clean, neat, tidy and spacious.

Summing up, we have no problem at all in recommending Smith and Smith to anyone who is interested in remodelling their kitchen.

We have been impressed by the whole team from the first time we made contact with your reception staff. As the initial contact we had with you, they have to be congratulated.

Heather Dean did a great job with the design for us. She was patient and went beyond the call of duty to ensure that we received an attractive and functional kitchen that works for us. I appreciated her skill and wonderful way she had of working through difficult design problems with me.The ‘wreckers’ were extremely pleasant to have in the house all day. An excellent team, an amazingly neat and clean job. They made us feel confident from the start of the structural stage.

The plasters were also very clean, neat efficient workers and made the process so pleasant that they almost felt like friends not contractors.The delivery team was efficient and cooperative.

John the cabinet maker was extraordinarily good with his work and again very, very obliging to ensure that we got the very best kitchen. We always appreciate attention to detail and he excelled in that. He was great to have in the house and the way he worked with all the other trades was a joy for us to watch. Your whole team works together in an amazing way.

We chose our own tiler who was extremely good and he asked us to thank the cabinet maker John, for the excellent job he did to ensured that everything was set square to ensure the tiles would look great. ( Have enclosed his name and address at the end)

You have a gem in John. Now days not many ‘young’ trades people do such an excellent job as he did. Thank you for sending him to our job!!!!

The electrician, and the plumber also did excellent work and fitted in with us and the team members. Our tiler, Trevor also thanks the electrician for putting the correct, longer screws in the power point cover so as to allow for the tile. We were also very impress with Sam Dunkley your Service Manager. His manner, attitude, professional approach and quality of work was a true blessing to finish off this whole process.Your whole team has worked extremely well together and been so considerate of us as to make a difficult time a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Thank you Deb for coordinating it all so well and answering my many phone calls so patiently and professionally. You have done an excellent job for us and we are really satisfied with the final result. We went to you in the first instance because of a recommendation and will recommend your company highly to others.
